About Us

New Revolving Age (NRA) is the only Hip Hop Dance Club in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, which was founded in Year 2000 with only 8 members. Currently, our club has grown as a family with over 200 members. With exposure to a wide spectrum of dance genres such as Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Popping, Locking, Break Dance, Lyrical Jazz and Street Jazz, our dancers train themselves to strive for versatility.

Embodying 3 basic principles as a dancer - hard work, commitment and the passion to follow their dreams, NRA continues to expose dancers to more competitions and performances, allowing them to gain invaluable experiences along the way.

NRA is also the first tertiary dance club to have organised productions with amazing collaborations alongside nine other dance clubs/groups in Singapore, and also the first tertiary dance club to take part in the national-level charity event, President's Challenge. Not forgetting that these charity events also conincide with the Ngee Ann Polytechnic's annual Arts Fiesta that welcomes students back for a new semester. Raising a profound awareness of NRA aims to bring dance as an art to engage the public and simultaneously showing the support of passion cultivated by the students and external subsidiaries through Danzation. NRA hopes to bring its dance productions to a whole new level in the years to come.
